I created this web site to share some things with you.

I want to share recipes, political observations, girls' basketball information, some software and computer information, and private genealogy and family pictures.

The recipes are my main thing. I hate to spend a lot of time cooking, especially when I am hungry. I don't like to spend lots of money for my food, and I don't like lots of salt or fat in my food.

The politics part will be my rantings, in a blog open to all if I can make that happen.

Basketball will be both general stuff and info for the MAGIC basketball teams.

Computers will be my observations on software and hardware.

RECIPES:

I hate to spend a lot of time cooking, especially when I am hungry. I don't like to spend lots of money for my food, and I don't like lots of salt or fat in my food.

These recipes will be quick and easy - no more than about 30-45 minutes from start to eating for a whole meal. They will use crockpots, microwaves, regular ovens, and even stovetop cooking. Some will be "cook ahead and reheat to eat".

We'll use fresh, canned, frozen, raw, and even some partially or totally prepared items.

Some will be my own recipes, some will be borrowed from or linked to from other sites, and some will be those you email to me.


POLITICS:

I'm not sure if there is a label for my politics. I am probably a bit of a liberal, but here and there there are conservative thoughts. Basically, I believe in the Constitution and Lincoln's phrase "...of the people, by the people, and for the people...". It is our country. It doesn't (and shouldn't) belong to politicians, any one political party, or commercial concerns. We need a strong Federal government which takes care of the big things (defense, health, and education), but doesn't mess much in our individual lives, except to strongly protect children, and to keep the "playing field" fairly even for individuals, especially vis-a-vis organized crime, including run-away corporate greed.
